The party game for asking your friends what you've never dared to

Asking for… is a party game where everyone asks anything, anonymously. Aim a question at one friend or the whole group, and nobody knows it came from you. Want more? We can add questions to the mix. Everyone plays on their own phone in the browser, so you're playing in two minutes, not after a group download.

Things you've always wanted to ask your friends

  • Ever dared to ask your friends what they actually earn? In Sweden you can just look it up. Asking is braver.
  • Which of you would be first voted off a reality show, and do they know it?
  • There's a story everyone in the group has heard except you. Time to fix that.
  • Somebody's been sitting on a secret since 2019.
  • Does anyone secretly mute the group chat? Asking for a friend.

Why anonymous makes it better

Truth or dare runs out of steam when everyone knows who's asking. Here, questions show up with no name attached, and if you let us add a few of our own, nobody can work out which were yours. So people finally ask what they've been curious about for years.

With three or more players, you can aim a question at one person. They'll never know it was you.

Built for actual parties

No download. Share a code and everyone joins from their phone's browser.

The host runs the show. One person moves the group through the questions, so nobody gets left behind.

Questions keep coming. Anyone can add a new question mid-game.

The best questions win. Everyone rates each question, Love it or Meh, so the game learns what lands.

Good for pregames, birthdays, cabin weekends, bachelorette parties and the hour after dinner when nobody wants to go home.

How it works

  1. Ask anything, anonymously. Aim a question at one friend or the whole group, and nobody knows it came from you.

  2. We can add questions to make it more interesting. You decide.

  3. No download. Share a code and everyone plays from their phone.

FAQ

What's a good party game to play on your phones?

One that everyone can join in seconds without downloading anything, that keeps the whole group involved, and that works for any group size. Asking for… runs in the browser, and everyone writes and answers questions together.

Can we play it as a drinking game?

Sure, house rules are yours to make up. A popular one: pass on a question, take a sip. Make sure everyone's of legal drinking age, and keep water on the table.

How many people can play?

Two or more, but it's best with three or more, when you can aim questions at specific people.

Is it really anonymous?

Yes. Questions show up without a name. Mix in some of our questions, and nobody can work out who wrote what.
